IT - Computer Support Specialist

Achieve a satisfying balance with a career that lets you work with people and computers. A computer support specialist is a problem-solver with a technical background in hardware, software, network maintenance, and networks. A good listener with an arsenal of problem-solving skills, technical manuals, and knowledge of computers, you will help customers resolve issues and restore productivity. You may also be charged with selecting hardware and software, managing a Local Area Network (LAN), maintaining a support ticket tracking system, and training employees. Along with technical skills, you ll be refining your people skills with special attention paid to listening, teamwork, ethics, and communication.
